Most physicians receive minimal training, at best, in endocrinology and the use of hormone replacement therapy. What training they do get is often based on the use of synthetic hormones and not biologically identical hormone therapy. There is also a lot of negative and misleading promulgated by the large pharmaceutical companies.
Why doesn’t my doctor suggest natural hormone replacement therapy as an option?
