License Configuration
The License configuration page is located under Admin Panel >> Location Settings >> Licenses. Once you have accessed this page you will have the ability to add the following types of licenses.
- National Provider Number (NPI)
- Your Personal Prescription Signature
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
- State Medical License
It is recommended that if you have all of these licenses you upload all of them at one time so that in the future when you access various features on the Simpatra site it will not require any additional work on the user's part. The system will also update you from time to time when your licenses expire that a new one will be required by the vendor to proceed with that particular request. Uploading again is easy and simply needs the new licenses and a resubmittal to occur.
Vendor Registration
Vendor Registration is required for many products, especially those pertaining to controlled substances. Most vendors will have approval within hours of submitting the request. It is an important step in the process and only needs to be done one time, in the beginning, to get started.
